I feel like this year (2010) will be a great year for our family. So, I am going to start summarizing each month to keep you informed of what is going on in our lives.
January 2010 was a great month. We rang in the New Year with friends and family by eating a bountiful amount of food, drinking champagne and playing board games. January is also the birthday month of my wonderful husband where we had friends over to eat and watched movies.
As if January could not get any better we had a sleet and snow day (today). How many times in central Arkansas do you get that.
The clinic that I work for actually closed for the day, so I got to have a day with my husband. First thing we did was run around Little Rock getting food but then the weather started getting bad so we came home. If you know where we live you know it is up on a big hill. We apparently made it home just in time because after about an hour we went 4-wheeler riding and this is what we saw.
They closed the road to get up to our house.
So, it seems like we might be stuck up on this hill for a while. At least we have enough food and each other.
If anything else happens in these last couple of days in January I will let you know.
